The musical career of Enma Fernández stands out for his direct relationship with Rock and Roll. However, this pianist, singer, musical director, showman and stage animal, has become in the last two years an essential reference of the New Orleans style.
Born in Barcelona in 1987, Enma Fernández can boast of being one of the most prolific musicians in Barcelona, with an average of over two hundred concerts a year. Virtuous at the piano and energetic on stage, highlighted for his special mastery of Rhythm and Blues, New Orleans sound, Traditional Jazz and Rock and Roll.
His influences refer to artists such as Ray Charles, Professor Longhair, Dr. John, Allen Toussaint, Duke Ellington, Jerry Lee Lewis, Fast Domino or Bebo Valdés, and his personal style make him a difficult musician to imitate.
Now Enma Fernández surprises with a new musical project, Hey Chico!! An album of ten songs recorded and produced by the great Mike Mariconda and Marc Tena. A personal work that keeps his in the rock and roll universe with which he opens up space for new musical styles. Hey Chico!! is the result of years of musical career, a mirror that reflects the musical interests of the author in all its facets. Sound New Orleans, Rhythm and Blues, Country, Steady, Cuban or Jazz are some of the styles that Enma Fernández has chosen to crown his name with an album that speaks of it in first person.
