Su sonido mezclado con el saxof\u00f3n, piano y \u00f3rgano junto con el sonido de la guitarra hace que sea descrito como el mejor glampunkrock &#8216;n&#8217; roll, con canciones que van desde The Who and Stooges. La primera vez que Prima Donna fue pinchado en la radio fue por Rodney Bingenheimer en su programa de radio KROQ el 27 de julio de 2008. Al mismo tiempo Kevin Preston se une al nuevo proyecto que crean los Green Day ,a parte, llamado \u201cFoxboro Hot Tubs\u201d y Actualmente Kevin Preston y David Field forman parte de la nueva banda de Billie Joe Armstrong The Longshot. Prima Donna presenta su genial 4 disco de estudio llamado S\/T con el sello Wicked Cool Records de Steven Van Zandt (Bruce Springsteen).
