Javier Escovedo &#8216;dixit&#8217;.Pioneros del &#8216;punk&#8217; Su concierto de 1977 en Los \u00c1ngeles, junto a The Germs y The Weirdos, fue el detonante de la escena &#8216;punk&#8217; de la costa Oeste estadounidense.\u00a0En marzo de 1979, tras la irrupci\u00f3n de la polic\u00eda en uno de sus shows en Elk&#8217;s Hall (Los \u00c1ngeles), cientos de &#8216;punkis&#8217; arrasaron la ciudad. \u00abNo quiero ser un h\u00e9roe, s\u00f3lo quiero ser un cero\u00bb: Esta frase, del periodista musical (y agitador contracultural) Lester Bangs, inspir\u00f3 su nombre.<\/p>\n<p>Denominados como \u2019Los Ramones mexicanos&#8217; Por su aspecto (vaqueros fam\u00e9licos y chupas de cuero) y por sus energ\u00e9ticas p\u00edldoras de &#8216;punk pop&#8217;: &#8216;I Don&#8217;t Wanna, Main Street Brat&#8217;, &#8216;Beat Your Heart Out&#8217; o &#8216;Wimp&#8217;, por citar algunas.\u00a0El recopilatorio &#8216;Don\u00b4t Push Me Around&#8217;, de 1992, recoge una exquisita selecci\u00f3n de sus primeros singles, rarezas y grabaciones en directo.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-761 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bomberbooking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/11202097_1631597480417913_338398437555363497_n.jpg\" alt=\"11202097_1631597480417913_338398437555363497_n\" width=\"552\" height=\"531\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bomberbooking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/11202097_1631597480417913_338398437555363497_n.jpg 552w, https:\/\/www.bomberbooking.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/11202097_1631597480417913_338398437555363497_n-300x289.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 552px) 100vw, 552px\" \/><br \/>\nEn 1995 la banda resurgio con un nuevo album titulado \u00b4Knockin&#8217; Me Dead.
